EC Home 
offers convenient access to residential mortgage financing through Norwest Mortgage, Inc. by calling 1-888-ECHome1 (1-888-324-6631). ECHome features include:

EC Home Improvement
Carbon Power & Light’s EC Home Improvement program allows cooperative members to finance certain home improvement projects at competitive rates by making one phone call.

This program can be used to finance a variety of energy efficient products, including electric thermal storage heaters, water heaters, window and door replacement and insulation. The loans also cover the installation costs.

Some other attractive features of EC Home Improvement loans include the following:

Loans between $5,000 and $15,000 can go up to 120 months.

EC Commercial
Carbon Power & Light has joined with First International Bank, N.A. to offer a unique commercial loan program to its members. EC Commercial is an equipment financing program that offers competitive borrowing options to active businesses dealing in manufacturing, agriculture, wholesale and distribution.

Certain professional firms are also eligible. Passive businesses such as commercial property and multi-family residential investments are not eligible.

Eligible items include most stationary equipment that consumes electricity and costs necessary to make the equipment operate, such as line extensions and ductwork. Large farm equipment such as balers and combines are eligible. Non-eligible items include construction, transportation, telecommunications and data processing equipment. Used equipment is not eligible.
