Notice of Position Vacancy

 

 

Position:           Director of Engineering

 

Salary:               Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

Duties:               Oversees design, staking and work order preparation for all electrical extensions and improvements to Carbon’s electrical system in accordance with approved engineering standards. Has knowledge of right of way, licenses and permits. Oversees Engineering department employees.  Works with Member/Owners and Developers to secure completed applications and agreements for electrical services.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years’ experience (RUS preferred) in power line staking or related field. Must possess excellent communication and organization skills. Experience and understanding of electrical theory, computer applications, surveying, drafting and Rural Utilities Service construction specifications a plus.
